Macy Blyskal
Macy Blyskal is a Senior Analyst at Fairmont based out of its Boston office. Since joining in January 2023 following an internship the previous summer, Macy has contributed to over 25 buy-side, sell-side, and strategic engagements spanning aerospace, defense, and government services. Over the course of her time at Fairmont, Macy has cultivated a specialization in artificial intelligence and has developed numerous AI tools used internally by Fairmont. Macy leads efforts to further the Firm’s ability to leverage AI and plays a pivotal role in engagements centering on artificial intelligence and autonomy.
Prior to joining Fairmont, Macy interned at Setna iO, a Chicago-based commercial aircraft aftermarket parts supplier, where she coordinated aircraft part outs. Macy has also previously interned on the Aerospace & Defense team at Springhill Consulting Group. Macy’s research has been published in Science for her work aiding in the development of a catalyst for coupling of propane dehydrogenation to selective H2 combustion at Northwestern University’s McCormick College of Engineering.
Macy graduated early with Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Grainger College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, focusing on autonomous systems and sustainable aviation. While in college, she led a team to place second in the 2022 AIAA Undergraduate Design Competition with a concept for a novel aerial firefighter. Macy also led the prototyping and flight testing of a sub-scale eVTOL air shuttle and participated in Army ROTC. Additionally, she has completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy certificate program.
Outside of work, Macy volunteers as an English tutor with ENGin, which pairs Ukrainian students with volunteers for speaking practice and cross-cultural exchange. She is also a mentor with Minds Matter Boston.
