Humza Khan
Humza joined Fairmont’s Washington office in 2026, after having interned there the previous summer. Before joining Fairmont, he was an intern at an economic development nonprofit in Chicago, where he researched quantum and energy policy. He also has interned at the U.S. State Department, where he applied data science methods in mapping the global semiconductor value chain.
Humza graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a Master of Science in Statistics, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Economics. He served as a grader and student mentor within his department. He also presented on behalf of the university at the 2026 Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers conference.
