Mariana joined Fairmont’s Boston Office as an Analyst in 2023, where she has since supported both strategic and diligence engagements across the commercial aerospace, government services and defense electronics markets. Prior to joining the firm, Mariana worked as an engineer for Pratt and Whitney, upholding a design role supporting the F135 Engine Core Upgrade for the F-35 Lightning II flown by the U.S Air Force, and a project role supporting Pratt and Whitney’s F117/PW200, V2500 and PW4000 112″ programs. Most noteworthy was Mariana’s position as an integrated project team leader on a F117 combustor durability improvement for the C-17 Globemaster flown by the U.S Air Force. Throughout her tenure, Mariana received three project awards, nominations for two company-wide leadership awards and was recognized as a top new hire.
Prior to Pratt and Whitney, Mariana interned at TEAM Inc. as a project engineer and supported R&D of Carbon Matrix Composite (CMC) airfoils for United Technologies and Pratt & Whitney.
Mariana graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Business. While at Syracuse, Mariana was a member of both the Varsity Women’s Track Team, Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity and Sigma Gamma Tau, The National Aerospace Engineering Honors Society.
