Phil joined Fairmont as an Analyst in the Boston Office in 2021. He focuses primarily on engagements across the commercial, military, and general aviation sectors, specifically within the aftermarket services landscape. Phil has supported over two dozen aerospace engagements during his time at Fairmont; he offers clients deep expertise in engine and airframe supply chains. Phil regularly develops detailed bottoms-up market and revenue models to help contextualize various aspects of the aerospace aftermarket and illustrate potential opportunities for share gain.
Before joining Fairmont, Phil served as an Analyst with Pratt & Whitney’s Engine Leasing division where he developed a strategic analysis of the company’s $300M V2500 lease engine fleet in order to balance customer demands and EBIT goals. Phil also worked with the Contract Cost Modeling & Analytics group where he identified several large ($40M+) overhaul shop visit cost reduction opportunities within the High Pressure Turbine module. These experiences provided Phil with a highly detailed knowledge of the turbine engine aftermarket landscape, OEM preferences, and the aircraft leasing environment.
Phil graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio State University where he earned a B.S.B.A. in International Business and a minor in Aviation. During his education, Phil interned as a Global Markets Analyst with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi in Mumbai and completed a semester long exchange in Santiago, Chile where he studied corporate strategy development in Latin America. Phil is an avid pilot and holds a Private Pilot Certificate & Instrument Rating from the Federal Aviation Administration.
